Twenty-five countries in total were examined: the 25 most popular destinations for French retirees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This year, a majority of French seniors who are considering moving abroad to live happily ever after have chosen the <strong>Portugal&nbsp;<\/strong>as the preferred destination, with an overall score of 65.15 out of 100, as revealed by <span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"http:\/\/votreargent.lexpress.fr\/retraite\/exclusif-le-top-10-des-pays-ou-il-fait-bon-prendre-sa-retraite-en-2016_1755234.html?utm_medium=Social&amp;utm_source=Twitter&amp;utm_campaign=Echobox&amp;utm_term=Autofeed&amp;link_time=1453282209#xtor=CS3-5083\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">l'Express<\/a><\/span>. Its strong points according to the respondents? Accessibility and security. Its weak points? The price of real estate and the cost of living. The second ideal destination would be Thailand (for the cost of living and the price of real estate, but with a downside on accessibility and integration. Finally, Mauritius 3 is on the third step of the podium with its strong points (security and natural heritage) but also its weak points (accessibility and infrastructure).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>One senior citizen out of three wants to move abroad<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Then follow Spain, Morocco, the Dominican Republic, Tunisia, the island of Bali, Senegal and the island of Malta, which closes this top 10 with 60.65 points.
