For working people, one of the most important factors in their decision to move to Portugal is whether or not they can work there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this article, we'll look at salary trends in Portugal, covering a number of points that may help you if you're looking to work in Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wages in Portugal are fairly low compared to other European countries. Depending on the region, this may vary, with an average gross salary of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1025.00 for the Lisbon region,<\/li><li>835.00 for the North &amp; Centre regions,&nbsp;<\/li><li>847.00 for the Algarve,<\/li><li>825.00 for Alentejo.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Salary benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As in other European countries, and particularly in France, other elements are added to the salary, such as meal packages or bonuses.
