{"id":7988,"date":"2021-05-19T10:48:48","date_gmt":"2021-05-19T09:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vivreauportugalconsulting.com\/?p=7988"},"modified":"2021-05-19T10:48:52","modified_gmt":"2021-05-19T09:48:52","slug":"un-bug-du-systeme-informatique-des-services-des-finances-irs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vivreauportugalconsulting.com\/en\/un-bug-du-systeme-informatique-des-services-des-finances-irs\/","title":{"rendered":"A bug in the computer system of the financial services concerning the IRS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A bug in the finance department's computer system meant that the values declared by category B taxpayers with organized accounting were not taken into account, reports the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jornaldenegocios.pt\/economia\/impostos\/irs\/detalhe\/erro-do-fisco-obriga-a-devolucao-de-reembolsos-do-irs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jornal de Neg\u00f3cios<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A bug in the computer system of the financial services concerning the IRS <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, repayments of<a href=\"https:\/\/vivreauportugalconsulting.com\/en\/the-reimbursement-of-lirs-in-2021\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">IRS<\/a> have been made unjustly, which means that taxpayers will now have to reimburse the sums unjustly paid out by the finance departments.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Not\u00edcias ao Minute newspaper asked a source in the Ministry of Finance how many taxpayers were affected by this error, and whether the situation was already being regularized. Unfortunately, to date it has not been possible to obtain an answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A source from the tax authorities told the same newspaper that the problem stemmed from a \"reading\" error in order to liquidate a field relating to the taxable income indicated on Schedule C of Model 3.
